T-Shirt Care
I know you’re smarter than this, but what the hell, I’ve got the time… Also, it’s useful for you to know that the minute your t-shirt hits the water, all Jailbird guarantees are over!
Do NOT:
Do: Dry in the shade.
Remember: Brushes are for teeth and hair, NOT t-shirts.
NEVER: Iron on the print.
Colours: Please wash black tees with dark colours only, at least the first few times.
Shrinkage: All Jailbird T-Shirts are 100% cotton. This means that they will shrink just a little bit (about 1 inch overall). This does not affect the size, and after the first wash, you will need to wear your t-shirt for about 10 minutes to “Train It” to stretch according to your body.
The simple truth is that ALL cotton garments shrink a little, but the more you wear them, the better they get… sort of like getting your favourite pair of jeans back from the wash… for the first hour or so the jeans are tight, but as the day wears on, they loosen up to fit the contours of your body.
